Spain women's U18 basketball team wins Eurobasket gold

The Spanish women's under-18 basketball team secured their eighth European title after defeating France 82-46 in the Eurobasket final in Stockholm. This victory marks the first time the team has successfully defended its title in this category.

Spain dominated the tournament, winning all seven matches with an average margin of 45.3 points. Led by coach Isaac Fernández, the team's defense was particularly notable, allowing an average of only 38.3 points per game. Key performers in the final included Marta Llompart and Somto Okafor.

Elisa Aguilar, president of the Spanish Basketball Federation (FEB), described the achievement as a milestone for Spanish basketball, noting the team's spectacular play and promising future.
