Albacete’s ‘Te Falta Calle’ street theatre festival draws 1,500 fans
The II Festival Provincial ‘Te Falta Calle’, organized by the Diputación de Albacete, ran from 2 to 12 July 2026 across Albacete, Chinchilla de Montearagón, Letur, Aýna and Jorquera. About 1,500 people attended the five free performances, which featured contemporary circus, gestural theatre, clown and other performing‑arts disciplines.
Audience surveys gave the festival an average rating of 4.9 / 5. 90.5 % of respondents said the event was “very interesting” and 100 % said they would attend again. 28.6 % of attendees travelled from other municipalities, highlighting the festival’s role in boosting cultural tourism and local economies. The provincial government plans a 2027 edition with expanded programming and a new “Obrador de Te Falta Calle” to further support local artistic talent.
