Telecinco ends 'De viernes' season July 31, features Borrego‑Campos reunion

Telecinco will suspend its weekend social‑chronicle programme 'De viernes' for the summer break. The final live edition is scheduled for Friday 31 July and will include a face‑to‑face reunion between presenters Carmen Borrego and Terelu Campos, following earlier on‑air tension over a rumored house sale.

The show will pause throughout August, a period traditionally marked by lower TV consumption, and is expected to resume in September, though an exact return date has not yet been announced. During the hiatus, co‑hosts Santi Acosta and Beatriz Archidona will continue appearing on the sister daily magazine 'De lunes a viernes' on Telecinco.

The programme has recently struggled in the ratings battle against the primetime hit 'Tu cara me suena', prompting the network to adjust its summer schedule accordingly.
