Spain's Astorga and Zaragoza host summer craft beer festivals

Astorga in the province of León will hold its first edition of the Feria de la Cerveza Artesanal on Friday in the central Plaza del General Santocildes. Five independent breweries – Oso, Vamos a Beer, Pintega, Zerep and Valles del Lúpulo – will showcase a range of locally produced craft beers, including special varieties such as a grape‑based brew.

In Zaragoza, the Birragoza 2026 festival returns to the Plaza de San Agustín on 28‑29 August. Organized by the BirrAmigos association and Cervezas Artesanas Lupulus, the event will feature up to 16 breweries from the region, Spain and abroad, offering more than 150 different craft beers. Admission is free, but a €6 ticket grants a commemorative glass, a guide to the participating breweries and a first drink. Guided tastings, food trucks and live music complete the weekend program.
