Spain's Benassal and Alcanar launch summer cultural festivals

The municipality of Benassal will hold the tenth edition of the Fira d'Oficis on July 25‑26. The fair will showcase roughly 30 traditional occupations and more than 60 activities, including demonstrations, workshops, exhibitions and gastronomy. Mayor Elia Garcia said the event “demonstrates the strength of a community initiative that has become one of the most beloved cultural dates in Benassal.”

Alcanar will host the fifth edition of La Mar de Música from July 24‑26. Concerts will take place in Plaza Ramon Pous and feature ensembles such as Essències Quartet, Quartet Singular and pianist Paulina Dumani. Mayor Marc Chavalera noted that the festival “reinforces our identity and positions the town as a cultural reference during the summer.”
