Spain's Carnival and Concert Season Kicks Off with New Performances

The Andalusian chirigota Los Triana from Marchena will make its debut at the Concurso Oficial de Agrupaciones Carnavalescas (COAC) 2025, performing on 23 January at the Gran Teatro Falla in Cádiz. Their participation reflects the growing reach of the Carnaval de Cádiz beyond traditional local groups.

Spanish singer Vanesa Martín is set to appear at the Cabaret Fest in the Plaza de Toros on 15 August, promoting her new tour “Casa Mía”. The tour supports her ninth studio album, which blends bachata, cumbia, and Cuban son while retaining her roots, and highlights her long‑standing presence in Spain’s summer concert circuit.
