Spain's economy growing three times faster than Eurozone

A recent Goldman Sachs report and OECD forecasts show that Spain's economy is expanding at a pace roughly three times that of the broader Eurozone. The surge is driven by strong domestic consumption, solid employment figures and rising real wages, which together have boosted retail sales, housing demand and tourism. Strategic investments in high‑speed internet, smart‑city projects, renewable energy and transport infrastructure have further enhanced productivity and attracted foreign investment.

Analysts note that inflation could rise to about 3.3% this year, mainly from higher energy costs, and that geopolitical tensions in the Middle East pose a risk. However, the country's resilient internal demand and the inflow of European funds are expected to sustain the rapid growth in the near term.
