Alberto Núñez Feijóo signals coalition talks with Vox and plans censure motion against Sánchez

PP leader Alberto Núñez Feijóo said that while he still aims to govern alone, a coalition with Vox could become necessary if the PP fails to secure a majority. He listed “red lines” that would not be crossed, including respect for the Constitution, fiscal balance and policies on gender equality, LGTBI rights, immigration, euthanasia and abortion.

Feijóo also announced that the PP is in "real‑time" contact with other parties to launch an instrumental motion of censure aimed at forcing Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez to call early elections. He claimed the PP and its allies control 184 seats, enough to compel a change of government.

In the Valencian Community, Feijóo will attend a mass PP gathering in Sueca, organized by provincial leader Vicent Mompó, marking his first visit to the region in more than a year. The event is expected to draw over a thousand attendees, including regional PP figures. Local social groups have planned a parallel “contra‑almuerzo popular” to protest the PP’s agenda and the regional government's policies.
