The 26th edition of the Fiesta del Cine runs from Monday 8 June to Thursday 11 June, with tickets priced at €3.5 for any film shown. The promotion involves 336 cinemas across Spain and is organized by FEDICINE, FECE and the Ministry of Culture, which together have attracted over 34 million viewers since the scheme began in 2009.

In Galicia, 17 cinemas participate, spanning A Coruña, Lugo, Ourense and Pontevedra provinces. The program showcases a broad slate of titles, including "Torrente Presidente", "Super Mario Galaxy: The Movie", "Mortal Kombat 2", "El diablo viste de Prada 2", "Shrek 25 Aniversario" and many others.

The initiative aims to thank audiences and encourage regular cinema attendance as a social and cultural habit.
