Spain's Lotería Nacional issues ticket for Chiclane's 150th city anniversary

Loterías y Apuestas del Estado dedicated a National Lottery ticket to the 150th anniversary of Chiclane receiving city status, granted by King Alfonso XII in 1876. The ticket, released on 8 August, features a sunset over the castle of Sancti Petri and a specially designed logo.

Mayor José María Román thanked the state lottery for the gesture, noting the commemorative ticket highlights the town's growth over a century and half and encourages visitors. Ten million tickets will be sold nationwide, with a €42 million prize pool that includes a €600,000 first‑prize per series and €120,000 second‑prize per series. Lotería officials said the ticket reinforces shared cultural heritage and national cohesion.
