Spain's Mediterranean destinations highlight S'Agaró and Ciutadella

Spain's Mediterranean coastline offers diverse historical and natural attractions, notably in S'Agaró on the Costa Brava and Ciutadella in Menorca.

In S'Agaró, visitors can explore the Camí de Ronda, a coastal path built in the early 20th century that connects Sant Pol beach to Sa Conca cove. The area is characterized by its combination of Mediterranean vegetation, cliffs, and modernist and Novecentista-style architecture. Key sites include the shallow waters of Platja de Sant Pol and the shaded, crystal-clear waters of Cala Sa Conca.

Ciutadella, the former capital of Menorca, serves as a significant historical hub. The town features a labyrinthine old quarter centered around the Plaza del Born and a harbor stretching over 1.5 kilometers. Notable landmarks include the San Nicolás Castle defensive tower and the Ciutadella Lighthouse, offering a blend of bohemian atmosphere and Balearic architectural heritage.
