The College of Registrars is offering free simple property notes to help displaced owners prove title, while the General Council of Notaries has activated emergency measures that provide free notarial advice, duplicate deeds and online protocols for submitting damage evidence. These steps aim to speed up the processing of indemnisation claims and emergency assistance for those whose homes and records were destroyed by the fires.
