Spain's national team sets up base at Baylor School in Tennessee for World Cup 2026

Spain’s senior football squad, led by coach Luis de la Fuente, has established its World Cup 2026 training camp at Baylor School in Chattanooga, Tennessee. The Royal Spanish Football Federation moved roughly 9,000 kg of equipment to the 280‑hectare complex, providing the team with state‑of‑the‑art gyms, recovery zones, two training pitches, an aquatic area, and even a golf course. Players will use the facilities throughout the group stage and, if they advance, for preparations ahead of the round of 16.

The camp follows Spain’s pre‑tournament friendlies against Iraq and Peru and precedes their opening World Cup match against Cape Verde on 15 June 2026 at 18:00 CET, broadcast free‑to‑air on La 1 in Spain and via RTVE Play.
