Spain's Plan Renove agricultural machinery funds fully exhausted

The 2026 Plan Renove for agricultural machinery in Spain has fully exhausted its 9.55 million euro budget. Following the close of the application period on September 15, the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (MAPA) confirmed that funds have been entirely committed across all three designated aid lines.

The budget was distributed into three specific categories: 3 million euros for direct seeding drills, 1.55 million euros for precision agriculture equipment—including autoguiding systems, NIR sensors, and agricultural robots—and 5 million euros for the renewal of other machinery, such as tractors.

Demand varied across the categories. Funds for direct seeding drills were committed almost immediately after the July 6 opening. The precision agriculture line was exhausted by July 23. The third category, covering general machinery and tractors, remained available until the official deadline in mid-September. While the primary budget is committed, provisional reserve funds may remain pending further confirmation.
