Spain's Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez's dogs stay at La Mareta ahead of his Lanzarote holiday
President Pedro Sánchez's two dogs, Turca and India, arrived at the official residence La Mareta in Costa Teguise, Lanzarote, several days before the prime minister’s summer break. Sánchez is scheduled to land on the island on Saturday and remain there until 24 August, after which he will return to the mainland on 12 August to watch a total solar eclipse that will be visible partially from the Canary Islands.

Sánchez has chosen La Mareta for seven consecutive summers, making the residence a recurring focal point of his seasonal itinerary.
