Spain's Sánchez government confronts extended deadlock amid ERC pressure to extract agreements

The Spanish parliament is approaching the end of its legislative term, prompting speculation about the survivability of Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez's government. Ongoing judicial investigations involving members of the PSOE and the upcoming budget debate have intensified uncertainty about whether the cabinet can complete its mandate.
