Spanish carriers Iberia and Iberojet boost flights to the Americas

Iberia announced a summer promotion running until 31 July, offering flights from Madrid to several U.S. cities – New York, Boston, Washington and Miami – at fares starting from €390‑€392 per‑segment. The airline also opened low‑price seats to Mexico, with new routes to Monterrey from €427 and Mexico City from €605, plus bundled flight‑hotel and flight‑car packages for July‑August travel.

Separately, Spain’s Iberojet will add a third weekly flight on the Madrid–San José (Costa Rica) route. The new Thursday service begins in late November and will continue through 2027‑2028, responding to growing holiday demand and aiming to deepen tourism links, generate jobs and increase economic spill‑over in Costa Rica.
