Spanish airlines Volotea cancellations and Vueling route revival affect passengers

Volotea cancelled a return flight from Asturias to Málaga on the same route that had been delayed and cancelled the previous week. Passengers, including Hugo Uría, were told the flight would be operated by Portuguese charter carrier White Airways but later received a notice of cancellation and a €20 voucher, with families having to arrange accommodation until the rescheduled flight on Sunday morning.

Vueling announced that it will resume a direct Bilbao‑Granada service from 25 October, offering two weekly flights in each direction on Thursdays and Sundays. The airline says the reinstated route will support both holiday travel and business trips between the Basque Country and Andalusia.
