Spanish artists Luna Pamies and Paco Bezerra reach new milestones

Actress Luna Pamies is making her theatrical debut in the play ‘En un minuto’, written by Inmaculada Alvearque. The production, a collaboration between Willy Producciones and MV Producción y Distribución, explores themes of racism, sexism, prejudice, and the challenges of intercultural coexistence. Pamies, who previously gained recognition in film for ‘El agua’, will be joined by Hajar Brown and Gabriel Márquez.

In a separate cultural development, playwright Paco Bezerra is seeing the world premiere of his work ‘La vida doble de Teresa’ at the Théâtre de la Bastille in Paris. The production follows a period of controversy in Madrid, where Bezerra faced political censorship and the removal of his work from Teatros del Canal in 2022. Bezerra has noted that the political pressures faced in Spain significantly impacted his professional trajectory.
