Spanish athletes secure victories in cycling and SportBike racing

In La Nucía, Enric Mas and Paula Blasi led the Criterium Internacional de Ciclismo. Mas, representing Movistar Team, secured both the general classification and the points race. However, Álex Díaz of Caja Rural won the elimination race after a close sprint. Blasi, from UAE Team L'IMAD, won a 'meta contra meta' challenge against cycling legend Pedro Delgado. The event also featured cross-discipline challenges involving professional skater Sara Cabrera Casino, who defeated Blasi but lost to Mas.

At the Circuito de Jerez, the SportBike World Championship saw a dramatic shift in the title race. Xavi Artigas secured a victory in the penultimate race of the season, overtaking David Salvador in the final laps. This win allowed Artigas to move into a virtual tie for the championship points, significantly altering the standings heading into the final round.
