Spanish authorities arrest suspects in multiple theft investigations
Law enforcement agencies in Spain have conducted several operations targeting recent theft incidents across different regions.
In Ceuta, the National Police arrested two individuals suspected of stealing construction materials from a warehouse in the Arroyo del Infierno area. The stolen items, which include approximately 1,500 props, 250 boards, and several formwork beams, are valued at over 60,000 euros.
In Valencia, the Civil Guard arrested a 38-year-old man for eight vehicle break-ins at the Buñol industrial estate. The suspect allegedly broke windows to steal items valued at 2,100 euros, causing an additional 5,000 euros in property damage during the thefts occurring between August and September.
In Palencia, the Civil Guard’s Operation PALLANTIA-AMG identified a suspect in Salou linked to six residential burglaries in Venta de Baños, Villamuriel de Cerrato, and Villalobón. The thefts, which occurred over a 24-hour period in November, resulted in the loss of 12,560 euros in cash, jewelry, electronics, and a firearm cabinet containing three weapons, which were later recovered.
