Spanish authors hold novel presentations in Cuenca and Salamanca

Several literary events have taken place in Spain involving the presentation of new novels.

In Cuenca, writer Miguel Saéz Carral is the first guest for the 2026-2027 course of the Las Casas Ahorcadas club. He will present his novel ‘Apaches’ at the Fermín Caballero public library. Saéz, a former EFE journalist and award-winning screenwriter, explores themes of family and neighborhood in a story centered on a protagonist seeking vengeance.

In Salamanca, author Alejandro Luis Otero Jamardo presented his novel ‘El cabujón rojo’ at the University of Salamanca. The event, held at the Faculty of Geography and History, featured musical performances by the Troyanos de Compostela and the University Tuna of Salamanca. The novel weaves together two timelines: the 1992-1993 academic year and the 14th century, involving historical mysteries and archaeological elements.
