Spanish banks Sabadell and CaixaBank see significant stock market growth

Major Spanish financial institutions are experiencing significant market growth. Banco Sabadell has reached historic closing highs, marking its sixth consecutive month of share price increases. The bank has seen a revaluation of over 25% since surpassing its adjusted 2007 highs, supported by balance sheet improvements and increased profitability.

CaixaBank is approaching a historic milestone, nearing a market capitalization of 100 billion euros. Following a 27% advance since January, the entity is trading at multiples similar to JPMorgan, approximately 2.4 times its book value. The bank maintains a strong position in the Spanish market, holding over 25% market share in commission-generating sectors such as insurance and investment funds.
