Spanish basketball teams secure victories in domestic and international play

MCD La Salle coach Álex Gómez expressed satisfaction following a victory against Valencia Basket, highlighting the team's defensive solidity throughout the 40 minutes of play. Gómez noted improved offensive fluidity and player connection, though he emphasized the need to improve shooting percentages and free throw accuracy as the season progresses. He also welcomed the return of player Andrea Alcántara to official competition.

In the Basketball Champions League (BCL), Unicaja coach Txus Vidorreta reported a five-point win against Reggiana. Despite facing fatigue from playing two games in 48 hours, the team set a season record by making 19 triples. Vidorreta noted that while the team struggled in the first quarter, they improved defensively in the second half to secure their third BCL victory.
