Spanish beer consumption study highlights social habits and media preferences

A study conducted by the University of Malaga in collaboration with Cerveceros de España has revealed key insights into beer consumption habits and social preferences in Spain. The research indicates that 92.7% of Spanish beer consumers frequented bars, restaurants, or cafes in the month prior to the survey, compared to 79.3% who consumed beer at home. The data highlights the social nature of the beverage, with 82% of respondents meeting friends for beer and 74.1% organizing meetings specifically for that purpose.

Additionally, the study explored which media personalities Spaniards would choose to accompany them for a drink. Eva Soriano was identified as the most popular female communicator, receiving 18.5% of the votes nationally and 25% in Navarra. David Broncano was the top choice for men nationally with 15.1%. In the Navarra region, El Gran Wyoming was the preferred male choice with 22.5%. The survey also noted regional variations, such as Julia Otero being the most popular choice in Catalonia and Galicia.
