The category was won by Mongolia's Buyankhishig Batpelden. In the open sub-13 category, Jordi Llobet secured 28th place with six points, earning 98.40 FIDE points to improve his international ranking. The sub-13 title went to Kazakhstan's Danis Kuandykuly.

Additionally, five students from El Altillo International School—Nicholas K., Lucas Xu, Alberto E., Jing, and Leo Kowalski—completed the tournament with improved FIDE Elo ratings.
