Spanish cinema clubs launch new cultural programming seasons

Several long-standing cinema clubs in Spain are launching new seasons of cultural programming.

In Santurtzi, the Cine Club is beginning a new edition that will run until May 20, 2027. The program features a diverse selection of feature films intended to provide a space for reflection and discussion outside of mainstream commercial circuits. The initiative includes colloquiums and meetings with audiovisual professionals, such as producers and specialists, to offer insights into the creative process.

In Benalmádena, the Cineclub Más Madera is celebrating its 35th anniversary with an autumn season running from October to December. The programming includes auteur cinema, international productions, and documentaries. The club maintains its collaboration with the Benalmádena International Short Film and Alternative Cinema Festival (Ficcab) and continues to host community-focused initiatives for local schools and senior centers.
