Spanish cities implement traffic changes for urban works

Various municipalities in Spain are implementing traffic restrictions due to ongoing urban infrastructure projects.

In Caudete, the City Council has announced a partial closure of Calle Madrid starting Tuesday, October 20. The closure affects the section between Calle San Luis and Avenida de Valencia to facilitate the second phase of remodeling works. This phase focuses on pedestrian area improvements, sidewalk renovation, and the expansion of the rainwater collection network. Traffic will be diverted through Calle San Luis.

In Sevilla, redevelopment works on Calle Nueva are modifying traffic patterns in the city center. These changes, affecting vehicle circulation, public transport, and taxi services, are expected to last until November. Specific adjustments include changes to the direction of traffic on Calle Bilbao and the relocation of loading and unloading zones to Calle Madrid to accommodate the works.
