Spanish cities install giant screens for Spain‑Belgium World Cup quarter‑final

The city council of Ronda announced that a large screen will be placed in Plaza Teniente Arce to broadcast Spain’s quarter‑final match against Belgium at 21:00 on Friday. Mayor Mari Paz Fernández said the installation is part of the town’s Noche en Blanco 2026 cultural programme and follows previous screenings of national team matches.

In Madrid, the municipal government will set up a giant screen on the Puente del Rey promenade in Madrid Río so the public can watch the same Spain‑Belgium World Cup quarter‑final. The initiative is promoted by the Ayuntamiento de Madrid as a way to encourage civic support for the national team during the 2026 tournament.
