Cádiz CF gears up with veterans charity match, B‑team calendar and new signings

The Cádiz CF veterans team will play a charity match on 1 August at the Puntales‑La Paz sports complex, featuring former players such as Jesuli, Velázquez, Mateos, Manolo Pérez, Fran Cortés and Iván Guerrero. Spectators are asked to bring school supplies, which will be donated to local families.

Cádiz CF Mirandilla, the club’s B‑team, has released its 2026/27 Tercera Federación schedule. The campaign begins on 6 September away to UD Tomares and includes fixtures against Dos Hermanas, Conil, Linense, Racing Portuense, Xerez Deportivo and Chiclana, ending on 2 May 2027.

In the senior squad, Cádiz CF announced several new signings ahead of the season. The club secured goalkeeper Jokin Ezkieta, right‑back Beñat de Jesús, centre‑backs Javi Castro and Kenan Toibobou, midfielders Ibon Sánchez and Damián Rodríguez, and forwards Vladys Kopotun and Urko Izeta. Damián Rodríguez, a 23‑year‑old midfielder, joins on loan from Celta Vigo after contributing to Celta’s recent promotion and gaining experience in La Liga and European competition.
