Spanish comic festivals announce dates and lineups

Two major comic book festivals in Spain have announced their upcoming schedules and participants.

The XVII Navarra Comic Salon is scheduled to take place from September 4 to September 27, 2026. The event has unveiled its official poster, designed by artist Clara Cábez. The exhibition will also feature a showcase titled ‘From Fanzine to Book: Rock Drawn by Cols Comix,’ highlighting the creative process of the Cols Comix team, which includes Clara and Olivia Cábez.

Meanwhile, the XXXI Villa de Avilés Comic Days will be held in Asturias from September 8 to September 12. The festival has confirmed a diverse lineup of approximately twenty authors, including international figures such as Scott Kolins, Rob Williams, and Declan Shalvey, alongside various Spanish creators.
