Spanish commentary condemns progressive politics and left-wing institutions

Two opinion pieces published in Spanish critique what the authors describe as a corrupt and opportunistic progressive left. The first article argues that the Spanish Socialist Workers' Party (PSOE) and its leader Pedro Sánchez present a hollow notion of progress, citing historical scandals and a perceived betrayal of genuine leftist ideals. It references past figures such as Clara Campoamor to illustrate a contrast with current politics.

The second article expands the criticism to a broader set of institutions, claiming that organizations once seen as neutral—such as Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch, the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), Oxfam and Save the Children—have been co‑opted by progressive agendas. It asserts that this takeover has led to the erosion of traditional institutions and a shift toward partisan influence in academia and media.
