Spanish communities host events celebrating women's social roles

Local communities in Spain held social gatherings to celebrate the role of women in social and economic development. In Almería, the City Council organized its twelfth annual meeting at the Caseta Municipal, bringing together approximately one thousand attendees from the municipal network of women's resources. During the event, Mayor María del Mar Vázquez highlighted the importance of the city's three Women's Centers and recognized Loleta Rojas Blanco for her ongoing community involvement.

In Balmaseda, the association Nos Unimos-Unissons Nous hosted a gathering supported by Mujeres del Mundo. Led by president Clementine Baza Bola, the event focused on community support and diversity, featuring participants from Bilbao and local groups. The day included cultural activities such as a poetry recital, a traditional tea ceremony by the Sahrawi association of Enkarterri, and visits to local historical sites.
