Spanish Consulate in Caracas Restores Partial Services
On 14 July, the Spanish Consulate General in Caracas resumed limited public services, operating from the former embassy premises at Quinta Marmolejo, Avenida Mohedano, La Castellana. The consulate set specific hours for key procedures: passport issuance and visa collection from 08:00 to 13:00, aid applications during the same window, literal retrieval from 08:00 to 09:00, and civil‑registry matters (including the Democratic Memory Law) from 08:00 to 12:30.
A schedule of appointments for pending civil‑registry files runs from 15 July to 3 August, covering cases postponed during the earlier suspension. The consulate said it will announce further timetables for the remaining procedures in the coming days.
