Spanish digital press shows shifting audience trends

Digital news outlets in Spain showed varying audience trends in August. ABC has returned to the top ten digital rankings, reaching 13.6 million unique users and securing the fifth position.

El Español remains the leader in digital readership with over 17 million unique users, despite a decrease of more than two million compared to its August 2025 figures. El País holds the third position with approximately 14.9 million unique users, followed by OKDiario in fourth place with 14.3 million users.

Data also indicates growth for outlets with right-leaning editorial lines. La Razón reached 13.4 million unique users, placing it sixth and ahead of El Confidencial, which recorded 13.3 million. Other publications, including 20 Minutos, El Periódico, and La Vanguardia, maintained figures around the 12 million unique user mark.
