Spanish drivers achieve success in Monza and announce rally debut

Spanish racing drivers have achieved notable milestones in recent motorsport news. Raúl Zunzarren, competing for Speedy Motorsport, secured a second-place finish in the second race of the GT4 Italy Series at the Monza circuit. Driving a Toyota GR Supra GT4 EVO2, Zunzarren and teammate Tomás Teixeira recovered from being in last place following an incident to finish just 0.434 seconds behind the leaders, while also setting the fastest lap.

In another development, former World Touring Car Cup champion Mikel Azcona has confirmed his participation in the Rally de Granada on October 31. This event marks Azcona’s first appearance in a dirt rally, transitioning from his successful career in touring cars, which includes multiple European championships and victories at the 24 Hours of Nürburgring.
