Spanish Episcopal Conference launches 2026 Diocesan Church Day campaign

The Spanish Episcopal Conference has introduced the campaign for the 2026 Diocesan Church Day, scheduled for Sunday, November 8. Under the motto ‘God counts on you’, the initiative aims to encourage renewed commitment to a participatory Church and promote transparency and accountability.

The campaign draws inspiration from messages delivered by Pope Leo XIV during his visit to Spain in June. The presentation was led by Monsignor Vicente Rebollo, bishop in charge of the Secretariat for the Support of the Church, and José María Albalad, the secretariat's director.

The initiative emphasizes that the work of dioceses and parishes relies on the prayer, time, and financial support of millions of people, calling for a co-responsible response from all baptized members to transform diocesan realities.
