Spanish firms adopt AI platforms to reshape legal and HR services

BDO Abogados has completed the rollout of Legora, an artificial‑intelligence platform designed to automate routine legal work such as document review and draft preparation. The phased deployment, which began in October 2025, achieved over 90 % adoption among its lawyers, with users reporting faster completion of tasks and more focus on strategic advice. Partner Ignacio Legido said the firm is “committed to delivering maximum value to clients by making AI a native part of daily practice,” while operations partner Javier Gómez Ferrer added that the tool “frees time for strategic analysis and higher‑quality counsel.”

Separately, legal‑content provider Lefebvre and HR‑technology platform OpenHR+ have signed a strategic alliance to merge legal compliance and talent‑management capabilities. The partnership will give OpenHR+ clients temporary access to GenIA‑L, Lefebvre’s AI solution that supplies quick legal information for labor‑related queries. OpenHR+ will also promote its “Convert your Nine Box into real decisions” methodology to help companies identify talent, mitigate turnover risk, and align people strategies with legal requirements. Both initiatives illustrate a growing trend of AI‑driven tools reshaping how legal and human‑resources functions operate in Spain.
