Spanish football and basketball clubs face competitive setbacks

In Spanish basketball, Bàsquet Menorca has recorded the worst start in its recent Primera FEB history. Following a 90-76 loss to Partizán de Fuenlabrada, the team remains the only club in the league without a victory after five matchdays, placing them at the bottom of the standings.

In football, Real Mallorca has dropped out of the top six positions in its league following a draw against Leganés. The result, combined with Burgos' victory over Andorra, has moved Mallorca down to seventh place. The club now faces a Copa del Rey fixture against Alcoy as it seeks to regain consistency in its pursuit of promotion.
