Spanish Football Federation unveils 2026/27 lower‑league calendar

The Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) will hold the draw for the 2026‑27 season calendars on 30 June in Madrid. The event will present the schedules for all senior men’s and women’s leagues, including the Segunda Federación where Xerez CD will learn its match‑day itinerary as it seeks promotion to Primera RFEF.

In a related meeting, the Castilla‑La Mancha Football Federation (FFCM) gathered the clubs of Group XVIII of Tercera RFEF to review the new season’s timetable – running from 6 September to 9 May with no mid‑week round – and to discuss major changes to the promotion playoffs, including a pure‑draw format that will avoid intra‑regional pairings. The clubs were also briefed on RFEF subsidies, audiovisual rights and other administrative matters for the upcoming campaign.
