Spanish football: Hércules CF and Elche CF player updates

Hércules CF midfielder Andy Escudero has addressed the challenges facing the team this season, stating that the squad must be prepared to endure difficult moments to achieve victory. Despite an initial period of two losses, Escudero noted that the locker room remained calm and confident in their ability to generate scoring opportunities. Following two recent wins, the team is preparing to face Águilas, with Escudero noting the need to adapt to different pitch conditions.

In other Spanish football news, Elche CF is working to secure the contract of Germán Valera to prevent losing him under circumstances similar to previous player departures. Valera has become a key player under manager Martín Anselmi, starting the first seven matches of the season. While his current contract runs until June 2027, interest from international clubs such as Sporting de Portugal and Club Brugge has prompted Elche to initiate renewal discussions.
