Spanish foundations announce funding for social and cultural projects

Kutxa Fundazioa has opened a call for applications for social and cultural projects in Gipuzkoa to be implemented in 2027. Non-profit entities can request up to 20,000 euros for individual initiatives and up to 50,000 euros for cooperation projects. The grants can cover up to 75% of a project's budget. The program focuses on poverty reduction, social inclusion, gender equality, youth protection, and environmental sustainability, as well as cultural creation and the promotion of the Basque language.

In La Rioja, Fundación La Caixa has approved a framework agreement to allocate up to 10.5 million euros between 2026 and 2027. The funding includes 5 million euros for 2026 and up to 5.5 million euros for 2027. These resources will support social, educational, cultural, research, and health programs, specifically targeting vulnerable populations through initiatives such as labor insertion, childhood support, and elderly care.
