Spanish foundations launch new scholarships for people with disabilities
New educational scholarship programs have been launched in Spain to support the professional development and inclusion of people with disabilities.
Fundación Iberdrola España, in collaboration with the Spanish Paralympic Committee, has announced the 17th edition of its scholarship program for the 2026-2027 academic year. The initiative has expanded its eligibility to include high-performance athletes (DAR) practicing any of the 29 Paralympic disciplines. The grants aim to cover higher education costs, including university degrees, masters, and vocational training in high-demand sectors such as artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, technology, and languages.
Separately, Fundación ONCE and the AP Institute have introduced the AP Institute–Fundación ONCE Excellence Scholarships. This program provides financial aid for postgraduate studies in public affairs and government. For the 2026-2027 course, the initiative offers grants of up to 15,000 euros to facilitate access to leadership and decision-making roles within public institutions and organizations.
