Spanish Government allocates €4.6 million to Pozo Alcón for storm recovery
The Spanish Government has allocated more than 4.6 million euros to Pozo Alcón to address damages caused by recent storms. The funding is intended for infrastructure recovery, rural road repairs, support for the agricultural sector, and job creation.
Of this amount, approximately 350,000 euros will be dedicated to the rural road network. Additional municipal infrastructure funds will cover projects such as the Río Peralta recreational area, containment walls, and repairs to various public buildings, including the local market and social centers.
The largest portion of the aid, exceeding 4.1 million euros, is directed toward the agricultural sector, having already been paid to 425 farm owners in the municipality. Furthermore, a specific employment plan for storm recovery has been established, with a guaranteed allocation of at least 42,509 euros for the town.
