Spanish Government seeks agreement on AP-9 transfer to Galicia
Pedro Blanco, the Government Delegate in Galicia, expressed optimism regarding the transfer of the AP-9 highway to the regional government. He stated that the central government has agreed to negotiate with the Xunta to reach an agreement and avoid potential unconstitutionality appeals.
Blanco also indicated that the central government is expected to transfer competencies related to work permits and aerodromes to the Xunta within the coming weeks. This process involves validating economic and personnel quantifications through upcoming commission meetings.
Regarding infrastructure, Blanco mentioned the A-54 highway, expressing confidence that the connection between Santiago and Lugo will be significantly improved in the near future. Additionally, he defended Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez regarding the migration crisis in Ceuta, asserting that the President remains responsive to such situations.
