Spanish handball clubs name new head coaches for 2024‑25 season

Club Balonmano Herencia announced that José Ramón Beldad will take charge of its senior women's team in the Primera Nacional. Beldad brings experience from BM Pozuelo, BM Alarcos and the Castilla‑La Mancha handball federation, and also coaches the regional university team.

Confía Base Oviedo is in the final stages of appointing Pablo Galech as head coach of its men's squad in the División de Honor Plata. Galech, a former player and assistant coach at Anaitasuna, has also served on the coaching staff of the Slovak national team. The club aims to stabilise its position in the second tier and eventually target promotion to the Liga ASOBAL.
