Spanish hospitals expand medical services and infrastructure
Several Spanish healthcare facilities are expanding their medical capabilities and infrastructure.
In Torremolinos, Hospital Internacional HM Santa Elena has introduced a new neurosurgery team led by Dr. Antonio Carrasco Brenes. The team specializes in brain, spinal cord, peripheral nerve, and vertebral column surgery. To enhance surgical precision and patient safety, the hospital is utilizing advanced technology, including a neuronavigator to assist in locating anatomical structures during procedures.
In Seville, Clínica HLA Santa Isabel has inaugurated a 2,100 m² expansion. The new area includes seven intensive care units (ICUs) equipped with advanced technology, ten day-unit stations for non-hospitalization treatments, and three endoscopy rooms. The expansion aims to increase capacity for critical care and diagnostic procedures, complementing existing services such as hemodialysis and neonatology.
