Spanish innovation programs support Latin American and Andalusian scaleups

The fifth edition of the España Latam ScaleUp program has concluded, connecting 15 Latin American scaleups with the Spanish and European innovation ecosystems. Organized by ICEX, BID Lab, and Endeavor España, the program facilitated connections between entrepreneurs and key actors in Madrid, Barcelona, and Valencia. Participants, including companies such as Avedian, Beeok, and SimpliRoute, engaged with six venture capital funds, over 10 corporations, and more than 40 speakers to explore financing and market expansion opportunities in Europe.

In Andalusia, 31 startups have been deemed eligible to participate in the EEN-Andalucía ScaleUP 2026 forum scheduled for November 26 in Málaga. The event aims to connect high-growth companies with venture capital, investment banking, and business angels. Of the eligible candidates, Málaga accounts for nearly half (15 companies), followed by Granada, Sevilla, and Almería. The participating startups represent various sectors, with Health, MedTech, and Digital Health being the most prominent industries.
