Spanish insurance organizations launch specialized technical training
Insurance mediation colleges in Spain are organizing specialized training sessions to address evolving technical and social challenges within the sector.
In Asturias, IPUR and the Colegio de Mediadores de Seguros de Asturias will hold a technical session on October 15, 2026. The training focuses on fire safety in industrial flat roofs equipped with photovoltaic installations. The program aims to provide insurance professionals and technicians with the criteria necessary to evaluate how solar installations interact with construction components and affect fire risk propagation.
In Castilla-La Mancha, the Universidad de Castilla-La Mancha (UCLM), in collaboration with the local insurance mediators' college, is hosting a course titled ‘Inclusive Insurance. Agricultural insurance as a mechanism to fix population in rural areas’. Scheduled for September 22 and 23, the course examines how agricultural insurance can act as a tool for economic stability, helping farming operations recover from catastrophes and thereby supporting employment and population retention in rural regions. The program includes international perspectives from specialists in Argentina, Chile, and Brazil.
