Summer festivals and free concerts announced across Spain and Latin America

A series of cultural events have been scheduled for July and August. In Spain, the Tenerife Phe Festival will return on 4‑5 September with an international lineup across three stages in Puerto de la Cruz. Cartagena’s Repsol Day on 22 July will feature free concerts powered by renewable diesel supplied by the local refinery. Puertollano’s Puerto Jazz&Blues Festival will offer three free shows from 30 July to 1 August. The Festival Mallorca Jazz will run from 28 July to 20 August, and the Festival En Órbita in Basel, Chile, will take place on 24‑25 September with a roster that includes Blonde Redhead and Dry Cleaning. In Mexico City, the new super‑band Under Cover will debut on 24 July at La Marakita, while a free concert by Kenia OS will open the 33rd anniversary celebrations of Playa del Carmen on 28 July. Veracruz’s Casa Museo Agustín Lara will host a public karaoke session on 22 and 25 July. Argentina’s Museo Hermanos Emiliozzi in Olavarría will open an immersive “Un día en la casa Emiliozzi” exhibition on 24 July, and Quito’s Museo Casa del Alabado will launch the book “Metales de los Andes” on 23 July, highlighting pre‑Hispanic metallurgy. These announcements underline a busy summer season of free or low‑cost cultural programming throughout the region.
